Privacy Policy

This page explains the information Deliverability Desk processes when you use scans, reports, Playbooks, Email News and Free Alerts.

Information you provide

Information generated by the service

Scans may store public DNS and infrastructure observations, findings, report tokens, timestamps, alert snapshots and delivery status. Basic server logs may also contain technical request information needed to operate and protect the service.

How information is used

Third-party services

Depending on configuration, Deliverability Desk may use public DNS/resolution services and public registration or certificate-transparency sources to perform checks; a transactional email provider to send requested messages; and Slack or Microsoft Teams when you configure an alert destination. The CMS may use OpenRouter for administrator-requested editorial AI work. CMS AI is not required for ordinary public scans.

Cookies and local storage

Free Alerts uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. The public site may use local storage for small preferences such as remembering that you dismissed an announcement. Analytics, if enabled, should respect the site's configured consent behavior.

Retention and deletion

Operational records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide the feature, maintain security, meet legitimate operational needs, or comply with applicable obligations. Because this is an enthusiast-built project, retention periods may change as the storage architecture evolves.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing messages using the unsubscribe mechanism provided with them. For privacy or deletion requests, contact info@deliverabilitydesk.com. Some technical records may need to be retained where required for security or legal reasons.

Security

Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no Internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit credentials or secrets into scanner fields.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the project and its service providers change. Material updates should be reflected on this page.
