Built to make email infrastructure easier to inspect.
Deliverability Desk is an independent, enthusiast-built project for inspecting public email infrastructure, learning how the underlying systems work, and turning technical findings into practical next steps.
What the project does
The Deep Scan and focused tools inspect public signals such as DNS, authentication records, published transport policies and other publicly available evidence. Knowledge Hub articles and Playbooks explain the same systems in a practitioner-focused way.
What it cannot prove
Public infrastructure does not reveal everything. Deliverability Desk cannot guarantee inbox placement, private mailbox-provider reputation, complaint rates, every legitimate sender, every DKIM selector, or the root cause of a delivery problem from public evidence alone.
Free Alerts
Free Alerts periodically re-check selected public conditions and can send changes to a Slack or Microsoft Teams webhook you provide. Monitoring is best effort and is not a substitute for your own production monitoring or incident-response process.
Why the disclaimers are explicit
Email systems are interconnected and provider behavior changes. The project is designed to be useful without pretending that a public scan has complete visibility. When evidence is unavailable, the application should say so rather than report a false pass.
